| Having just hit my 52nd birthday i am in reflective mood. Marriage and Fatherhood are great and i am dead lucky that my wife would take pity on a southern softy and drag him north...but i do miss that friday night down the pub when all the talk was of the weekends footy fixtures. I get Corrie and Emmerdale now!!!! and lots of it. We have a well stocked, decent priced bar at the club and i wondered if anyone was up for a regular Friday session? Dont tell my wife though, i'll bring my racket and say its a ladder match. |

On Friday (9th) we finally found out how to fill the bar on a friday night. Fly a couple of ex-members over from OZ, all expenses paid, and the members will rampage to the bar. Nicky, Lindy and Sam Spindler held court on the 9th January and a great night was had by all. Sadly as Aussie sport is in decline we had to take advantage, especially with Andy Murray now favourite for the Melbourne Grand Slam.
So the idea now is to advertise the presence of a mystery guest to encourage use of the bar. Who would your ideal guest be? Let us know and we will consider booking them.
For me it will be either Angelina Jolie or Carlos Tevez. |

| Would that be Carlos Tevez as the bit on the side and Angelina Jolie to help those hammers on the pitch?? |
