At the moment Rick is single-handedly keeping these forums going. Even hosting conversations with himself! Let's get some more people to join in.

I've put this post in the social section as it is a social event in itself.

Most of us like a good discussion / argument about all things Hallam Grange / tennis. Wouldn't it be great if we could get plenty of us regularly using this forum. It would show any new visitors to the website that we are an interesting thriving club, it's good for filling in any of those quiet moments at home / work when you'd rather be out on court, and it's a great place to canvas opinion for new ideas before approaching the committee with anything that might improve the club.

But the key is to generate interest. That is down to the few of us already on the forum. I didn't know about it until I stumbled across it recently, or I would have been on ages ago. We just need to mention it to more people at the club, so they know it's here, and encourage them to register and start using it. If we can get regular new posts then we all have a reason to keep coming back, reading it and leaving comments of our own.

Otherwise it's just down to Rick, and if he falls out with himself there'll be no more conversation.
